Suri enjoys a tasty treat
I love celebrity gossip. There, I said it.
If you peruse my list of favorite websites you will find a handful of celeb-focused sites that I frequently visit. Call it blissful escapism, if you will.
And while most of what I read doesn’t necessarily teach me anything that’s life transforming (knowing, for instance, that Suri Cruise, with mom Katie Holmes by her side, snacked on a chocolate croissant, or that Reese Witherspoon, post-workout, bought new Uggs for her kiddies, isn’t really spiritually or intellectually enlightening – though it is entertaining!) every so often I do come across something interesting and informative.

So what did I learn?
This is what works for Jennifer “very bootylicious” Lopez. She skips the carb-heavy, empty calories. She not only avoids any pesky hangovers, but simultaneously helps keep her waist slim and trim. Some beverages, on occasion and in limited amounts, are okay. But a few too many fruity cocktails will likely result in a few too many extra pounds.
Ditch the Junk
Blonde beach goddess Christie Brinkley has the right idea – keep the junk food out of the house. If it’s not there, you can’t eat it. So brilliant, so easy! You know if the M&M’s are there you’re going to eat them – maybe not today, but eventually they’ll end up in your tummy.
Ban Processed Foods
Naomi Watts, left with 50 excess pounds following her pregnancy, lost weight by losing the processed, packaged fare. She got real, and ate as nature intended. It’s a good idea not just for your waist, but for your overall health.
White is so yesterday. Celebs in the know, like Stacy Keibler, with her impossibly long and lean legs, consume darker, nutrient rich grains. Instead of regular pasta, she’ll fill her plate with a healthier alternative – quinoa.
